Although itโs week 9 today I have already completed a 5k parkrun last week and done two other 4.5 k runs earlier this week where I was really disappointed in myself cos I had to stop at 4.5 k. Tonight , however, I ran with my beginners running group and it was brilliant. The support makes so much difference . I completed the 5km in 36 minutes and that even included a little hill. My parkrun was 38mins so Iโm really pleased . Hereโs hoping that once we ve graduated I can keep running with supportive people . It makes such a difference x

Wonderful. Iโm starting W9 tomorrow morning with a friend.
You are doing great.๐๐๐
Thank you. Feeling very positive this morning x just about to splash out on a Fitbit ionic to replace my Alta. Thatโs how certain I am now that I can do this, I am doing this and I will keep doing this ๐

Well done for reaching week 9! I'm only on week 4 and have been doing my runs solo (with dog!) but last week I tagged on at the end of a Park Run in Manchester and I loved it, makes so much difference to be with other people - of mixed abilities! I didn't run the whole course but stuck to my C25K podcast, but didn't feel left out at all, it was great.
