Please Help.... Currently running for 25 mins comfortably but never managed to graduate and was wondering what I could do to motivate myself... long story short I’ve signed up to run at 10k in 10 weeks time.

All advice welcome... where do I start? What do I need to know?

Hey, well done on being able to run 25mins! I have also signed up to run 10k in 10 weeks (yours wouldn't also happen to be the vitality 10k would it?)

I can't run/jog - At all! I am starting c25k W1R1, so if I believe in myself and believe that I can do it in 10 weeks, so can you!!! Good luck!

If you can run for 25 minutes then have a look at Ju-Ju’s ā€œ10 is the magic numberā€ programme over on the Bridge to 10k forum. I’m following this after graduating C25K last month and have also signed up to run the Vitality 10K at the end of May.

If you can run 25 mins pick up the c25k at week 7 (or 8 and push yourself to 28 minutes) and then finish it. That will give you a great basis. Then re-assess, check out the Bridge to 10k forum and see what suits you to get to 10k. It’s doable - but don’t push too hard as that’s the best way to pick up an injury!
