Week 4 brick wall run one

Hi all

So I am at week four day one run - hit that brick wall !! Got to last 5 min run of the session and had to walk at least half of it off and on :(

Think will repeat this week until I feel stronger!

What has everyone else done at this point ? Thanks

Hi and welcome back.

The guide is that if you complete a run then you move on.......if you don't complete, you repeat. This maintains the impetus. Sometimes repeating a week becomes demotivating, causing some to give up because of lack of progress. There is not a lot of point continually repeating a run you know you can do, because you are not sure you can do the next one. Try it and see.

All that said, you are in control and each run will be strengthening your body, preparing it for those to come.
