Morning all, had my eye op and it seemed to go well enough. Now at least a month of no running. I really don’t want to let go of this new found love of mine. I hope you don’t mind me hanging around the forum drooling over your run posts 😆 anyway I will see how I feel in a month and go for a run and play it by ear . Thanks everyone !

Please do hang around! I had 6 weeks off with an injury around Xmas, and still checked in here most days - kept my spirits and motivation up until I could run again.

I wish you a speedy recovery, CatMo. xx

Great stuff... happy healing... and hang around as much as you wish too.

Why not pop across to Active 10... our sister walking site.. Realfoodieclub is across there and a few others too. I have used walking after being on the IC and it is a friendly place:)

I am assuming you can still walk although not run...? ( see, I intend to keep you moving, wicked aren't I ? :)

Glad the op went well, and wishing you a speedy recovery. Please do hang around - staying "in the loop" will hopefully keep you motivated and make it that bit easier to start again when the time comes. I am sure a month will fly by.

It is a really friendly bunch over on the Active 10. We are there to motivate and encourage whatever your abilities are. We have a few on the IC and recovering waiting to get back to running as well as those who are just starting their walking journey, The more the merrier and you can be part of both groups as well, win win for you. 😀.

Hi CatMo, I’m glad that your operation went well and wishing you an excellent recovery.

Of course you are welcome to hang around,. - I am hanging around while sitting out a persistent chest infection. We can always cheer for other runners! 😀
