Run Tracker Apps

I started using one out of curiosity at the start of week 7 and was pleased with my pace and distance, but I found it put pressure on me to run too fast and improve my times. I have stopped using it for now and my runs are far more relaxed, I wouldn't say slower, but definitely more relaxed and less tiring. Week 9 next for me!

Well done, I think that is a wise decision.

Build basic stamina and strength then you can work on speed with much reduced risk of injury.

I have decided not to use one until running is easy. I don't want to put more pressure onto myself. I have just (today in fact) realised how relaxing the actual run can be. Until now the joy has been post-run.

I used it again for my graduation run, and measured 5.46km but that was just curiosity. My next run after I did not and will not until like you, I can comfortably do 30 minutes. Much less pressure with it off and I agree, more relaxing!
