Let it Glow!

Haven’t posted in ages but I have been running.

Finally did my first 5k race for a local hospice at the weekend and it was amazing! We had a Zumba warm up, neon paint, glow sticks as it was at night.

I was worried I wouldn’t be able to run the whole way as I’ve only ran 5k a couple of times but I’m proud to say I did it without walking - even managed a little sprint finish!

The atmosphere was amazing too. Everyone was clapping and there was music playing along the route too. Random people in the city centre even cheered us on 😂.

Can’t wait to do another one. Eyeing up one in may. Might even do a 10K in the future!

Ooo, that sounds my kind of thing. Maybe I'll live dangerously and check one out near me... Well the night and the glowing stuff, they sound awesome. My inner hermit, not so keen on the other people running with me! LMAO I'm dreadful, I'm so glad virtual runs exist for anti-socials like myself.
