Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say how inspired I have been by reading all the daily posts from people giving running a go. I am currently on W5R2, its taken me a little longer than most. I started the C25K on December 26th last year, I repeat runs until I feel I have managed to complete them confidently, which is when I move onto the next one. The positive vibe on this forum, gained from reading all the little victories has really helped me to keep going; I am slowly building fitness and starting to feel the benefits, so a massive thank you to you all. Keep up the good work and happy running! Cheers C

Hi Cluggs. I think that’s a great way to achieve your goal.

I’m on week 4 but can’t say any of the weeks have been easy so I may repeat a few weeks between now and week 9.

Welcome to our family 😀

Well done and I’m sure you will achieve your aims. This forum is incredibly positive and has helped me in all sorts of ways. Do I spot a fellow Cornwall dweller? I’m only an emett but love my adopted county and do what I can to support and preserve it.

I really admire your approach and your focus on developing the quality of your run rather than just getting through to the next one - you are amazing and doing so well.

Someone named them 9 phases, not 9 weeks ;) I so loved the idea myself that I keep spreading it.

Enjoy your runs and rest days! You are doing great Clugg

Happy running!

Welcome and we are glad to have you with us:)

You are clearly confident in the way you are running this, but maybe, as the runs get longer, take care not to over repeat :)

The longer runs are wonderful, and they are perfect for taking slowly and steadily and just relaxing into...letting our newly forming running legs find their happy pace:)

Please, now you have arrived.. stay with us and keep posting:)

I feel the same.

I watched, read and liked for the first few weeks and felt compelled to share and say thank you yesterday.

We will get there I'm sure.

Hi Iannodatruffe, Thanks... I hadn't read it before you posted to me, so thanks for that, some great tips and guidance in there... stretches... interesting may have to experiment with this as my running duration gets longer, I'm so green to running and exercise anything like this is proper useful :)

Well done. That's the great thing about the 0-5k you can take as long as you like. You are still exercising and building up your fitness. The fact that you are feeling good shows its working. Keep posting.
