Second run completed this morning. Definitely felt a smidgen more positive before and after, but I still can’t believe that I’ll ever be able to run for more than a minute at a time....

Got a blister on Monday, so bought some blister plasters - and I’ll be jiggered, got a blister on the other foot today! Heigh ho....

check how your shoes are laced. Eliminating shoe moevement reduces blisters

I found thick sports socks, with a high molecules area and very tightened laces with a double bow restricted most movement, and maybe blood flow

Running is a hugely psychological battle. Yes, you have to build your body, but self belief is crucial to success.

Believe me when I tell you that you will run for thirty minutes and probably in just a few weeks time.

Have you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is full of tips.

Lidl have running socks in their upcoming running sale. Highly recommended.

You can do this.

There are a couple of Lidl’s near me, but I’m currently in Spain so sale times are different, but I’ll definitely keep my eyes open for some.

I have read the guide, and it helps, but it’s hilly here, which makes things more challenging than I’d like, BUT - today I found a route that takes me almost to the sea, which was great!

UPDATE! My thighs definitely don’t hurt as much as they did on Tuesday!
