Just started this week. Second run planned for tomorrow. I’m looking for recommendations for running shoes. Part of my route on wet and muddy ground. Profile pic is an example of the terrain.

Lots of great advice.... as we are all so different, what someone wears, may not suit you.

Check the FAQ post out too, there is so much information there:)

But.. muddy trail runs..brilliant :)

Well done you .

Heavy studded trail shoes are the answer, but I resort to road running when it is so wet.

Morning Ian. By now people on this forum know my preference for OC for road running but the winter is still with us. I have found that OC venture is near perfect for off road / tracks and tarmac. Just what I needed. There is of course the drop in them will not suit everyone. So as you advise everyone " get your feet checked out by machine ". Good luck with all your running this year. Mine starts in earnest this weekend with the Clumber park duathlon
