I'm still on track

Time flies by, and I did my 10th consolidating 30-min run today, not as bored by doing the same workout each time as I was expecting.

It's still hard. These last runs were actually harder than week 9. My legs are constantly tired, sometimes I'm nauseated. Not sure I should start increasing my distance, which I was planning to do after three weeks of consolidation.

Went to the swimming pool, because my landlord was keeping suggesting that I come with her. I wouldn't even consider it without such a nudge, as I can't stand any public or group activities, not to mention common showers and changing rooms. But then, they say swimming is one of the best cross-training workouts...

Well, that was fun. Very, very hard. Who would've thought swimming is that hard. Last time I did it was 12 years ago and in the sea. And it seems like running has changed my whole personality, because after discovering how badly I swim I just thought "It would be fun learning how to do this". Still, going to the pool is just too complicated.

Try varying your routes.. and distances etc.. the 30 minute runs need consolation but other runs are really helpful.

Check this post out too, for lots of ideas for shaking things up;

Try the C25K+ podcasts too.. they are different, challenging and great fun... also doing much for the disciplines in our running:)

Thank you!

I leave France next Monday, so changing my route is inevitable. Worried about it, as I can't think of where to run back home... All this tarmac and cars, no parks or forests nearby...

Try slowing down a little if you do want to up your distance? But don't feel as if you have to run further if you don't want to. 30 min runs can be a lovely and thorough enough exercise
