I'm on W8, did R2 this morning but I'm feeling so good by the end I'm squeezing out a little more each time. Today I reached 5K albeit it 39 mins instead of 30 mins but I'm super proud of myself.
If I can do it then anybody can, I was a very reluctant runner to start with but I'm so happy I've trusted the program and it's got me there. (As well as all the super advice on here).
Be careful JKA73, you are not following the programme.π€
It is your journey.π€
But week8 is 3x 28 min runs. Thatβs all, at a pace you are comfortable with.
Wk 9 is 3 x 30 min runs and the single shared goal is to have the stamina to complete that.
Completing 5k in 30 mins is not a requirement.Although if achievable without consequence , that is great.
Do not know if you are a previous graduate or runner, but let yourself repair every day after your run and do not push too hard.It is a tried and tested programme that gets you to a position to continue your journey.
In many ways Newbies on completing are still novice runners.
All the best, sorry this is in no way to dampen your passion.Think about sticking with the programme and your ongoing continuous building and running journeyπ€πππ
Well done on making the 5k, ahead of plan - I guess the 39 mins includes the warm up/down elements?
Take your time youβre only a week from graduation and a whole lifetime of running.
There is the super advise JKA73 you acknowledged from Jan-can-runs , Oldfloss and Iannoda Truffe.πππ
As a Newbie I acknowledge that whole heartily too.ππ
I just want to see you graduate,π and I am concerned, why having read all your posts and story π,you are now missing from this forum.ππ€π€
