Hi all, so I graduated about 3 weeks ago, and I'm doing the stepping stones podcasts now, usually the stamina one. So this morning I ran for 40 mins and 5.84km but instead of getting quicker I'm slower. So I'm pleased that I can now run for longer as 12 weeks ago I couldn't run for more than 3 mins, but it's still hard going and I'm not getting quicker, is that normal??

I've no idea, but it sounds pretty impressive to me. Remember that you are putting in so much more distance, so your body must be tired; it's not surprising that you've lost a bit of speed. I'm sure it will come in time, but read back your post and note how amazing your achievement is.

Hi Hedgehogs123, maybe try the Nike running app guided runs as a change to the podcasts- you can play your own music with them too. They also give you lots of running tips which I found useful after finishing the c25k. 😀

You are still a very, very new runner and you are not going to suddenly find an increase in speed, especially if you are increasing distance as well.
Have some patience, get miles on your legs and pace will come...........in time.
