Ouch 😩

Started back gently by supporting DH as he returns to C25K again after resting and recovering from injury. My Achilles is still niggling a bit and still doing RICE but my right shin has been getting worse over the last couple of days - kept awake nearly all night as it was so painful so went straight to my GP this morning. She thinks I have cellulitis so mega dose of antibiotics for a week and no running for a while 😕 It feels like I’ve been kicked on the shin by a donkey 😖

Do any of you have any advice? Do you reckon I’d be ok to go out on my bike (nothing to challenging of course).

Just want to get back up and active ASAP

I had cellulitis in my lower leg a few years back- mega dose antibiotics as you say- and my advice was complete rest until the red circle starts DEcreasing. Hope this helps

Thanks Liz - it’s all very odd as there isn’t any redness - just hot and very tender over the tibia 🤔
