Finished week 7 today, still with some difficulty in the right thigh/groin. I hadn’t run since Tuesday as I had experienced some pain in my right leg.. same area. I spent the week doing some stretches and exercises to try and stretch the muscles and also let them rest. Ran today and had to stop at 20 minutes. However I did a few stretches and lunges and felt ok to finish the run.. probably ended up running 30 minutes in total. I stretched well when I finished but I’m not sure if I am doing the right thing. It’s not sore now but I am thinking of seeing a sports Physio just to be on the safe side. What does anybody think? Has anybody had this type of pain before? I think it’s the adductor muscle but I can’t be certain. 😬😬😬

Update on thigh pain
I think Mentor Oldfloss recommended you to do that in your last post, sports physio.
Go and get the reassurance.
Gosh well done on your perseverance, you have done so well to control it and get through.
Hopefully it is going in the right direction. It will be good if they approve of your actions.Uplifting.
You do-not want to end anything before you get going.🌟👏👏
Thanks for bringing your story and good luck with your SP.👍
Thank you. I feel so good when I’m out running and I really want to get to the 5k point (and hopefully beyond🙏🏻) as my aim is to take part in a charity run for an African school that is close to my heart.. it’s a great motivator to keep going but I would hate to injure myself at this stage! I will post an update once I have seen the physio, hopefully get an appointment in the next few days
