Where to start. The bad news was I had yet another Runkeeper malfunction. I double clicked start at the beginning of the run so it must have started then stopped staraight away as at the end of the run when I looked to see my distance it had registerred 0KM Time 0. Gutted. However today I ran the 5KM park run route so all I had to do was measure the distance from where I stopped to the finish line - Cant believe I thought of that after 25 mins of running. Well how was the run, exhausting as always but exhilairating when you finish and you know that you could not have done more. I do feel bad for swearing at Laura today. Having ran 24 mins with 1 minute to go she said that if I wanted to I could speed up for the last minute. Well I am afraid i impolitely told her to go away - please forgive me. And I think she did because after the warm down she called me a runner yippeeeee. I am looking forward to when I do my first poark run and at least now I know the parts of the run that I know I will have to take easy, but I am now safe in the knowledge that I know I can do it. And if anyone is interested I managed to do 4K today. Who would believe that 7 weeks ago I would be out of breath walking fast. I really cant speak highly enough of this NHS Couch to 5K. Now we are into just runs now I can see the finish line just over the horizon. Who's with me

The first step is finding this place - the forum, the programme and your own desire to change is all you need to succeed.

To be honest In January I looked at myself in the mirror and said out loud "you are disgusting". I the new I had to do something about it. I have started to eat better and was told by a mate at work about this programme and the rest you can see is history. I may not have lost much weight but I feel so much better aboiut myself and its down to support I get, I love it and am very touched

I'm with you - also did W6R3 today. Well done! However, you are considerably faster than me.

Good luck with the rest of the programme! x
