W9r1 tonight!

So, after amazing 8 weeks I’m almost at the finish line for this program!

I have seen improvement in my running, I am more determined to get out and run as it’s more of a habit now than a challenge, and I’ve lost inches from my thighs! Bonus!! All of this and I’m now enjoying getting out running, running has dramatically improved my life style!

I started the program with a running club, to start there were 35 of us, now there’s only 10 left! I’ve made new friends and am very proud that I’m still going!

Tonight is the first of my week 9 runs, Wednesday will be my second and I will graduate whilst doing ParkRun on Saturday! :)

Thank you for your support along the way guys! I will definitely continue to run after this week, I’ve signed up for a race as my determination!

Thanks again

Rebecca x

Hi, I am also treadmilling. Do you mind if I ask your speed and if you use any incline? Thank you

No incline. I didn’t realise one was recommended till I was on week 4 and I’m not putting THAT as an obstacle yet. I will leave that till graduation. My walk is 5 and my run is 6 on good days but I do vary it so as not to give up. I’ve sometimes walked fast at 6 then carried on jogging it. I’m guessing that’s OK. I’m no expert. 😊

Yes, I’d also give the incline a miss if I were you. So is that miles per hour or Km per hour?

Congratulations for hanging in there and making it a habit - that's the key. Just three more runs and you're in the graduate lounge!

I’m amazed at how far I’ve come! 9 weeks ago I never would’ve thought I could do it! So close!!!!

That's such a good news post 😀 And look at you staying the course while all around you people have given up. Even more reason to be proud of yourself 👍🏼

Great post! Running will transform your life 😁. Being slimmer is just another one of the benefits

As you get more into running chances are you will be more inclined to eat healthier foods.

When we take our first steps with C25k we have no ambition generally beyond the first steps. Fast forward 9 weeks and we’re thinking about races!😁 racing is the icing on the cake It’s such a blast I can’t tell you 💪👍🏃‍♀️

Great job Rebecca. I just graduated last week and it's a great feeling. I'm going to try my first Park Run on Saturday. Enjoy the week!

Thank you AineMc I’m going to finish my c25K at a ParkRun tomorrow! See how much I can complete with 1/2 hr jogging. However I think I could go longer as with my second run I could’ve carried on run!

Good luck for tomorrow!!!
