Time to stop skulking!

Have decided to change my user name from Fitter40s to DebJogsOn.

Feel that I know you all enough now not to have to skulk behind a totally anonymous name and would much rather you call me Deb than Fitter (which is probably against trade descriptions as well as sounding weird πŸ˜‚).

Will also save me the dilemma of whether or not I change my name to Fitter50s a bit further down the line.

Deb x

Do you know the nickname thing held me back from the forum for days! My nickname online for decades was Girlie_Biker, as in motorbikes, but that's just not who I am anymore. I couldn't believe I couldn't just login under my email πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

We change over time... makes sense the tag will too! 😁

Went originally for something that captured what I was trying to do - and really didn't want to be recognised - didn't tell anyone I knew I was doing C25K until Week 5 and I have a fairly public facing job so was very coy.

Now I'm so damn pleased with myself I don't mind who knows 😁

Nice to meet you formally! I like all the user names because sometimes I just can’t work out why they are what they are. Rignold took pity on me and explained IannodaTruffe .

I love the variety of names and Debsjogson is a lovely one.

Fittipaldi is also the name of an Italian investigative journalist who was a defendant in the fairly recent Vatileaks II trial, so a very significant name to me...!

I am the perhaps less interesting "Helen rather than "Helene" but the "e" crept into all my usernames as it is my middle initial. Just about everyone in Italy misspells my name as Helene but I am ok with that, or Helena, or Elena... the only one I don't like is the very commonly used "Hellen" since it's not really a name. Obviously I like my own Helen best but after nearly 18 years outside the UK I am fine with anything that's not offensive πŸ˜€

And "Corsa" isn't my surname, it is Italian for running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hmm is this a new trend of name changing. I wondered who this DebJogsOn was that I was seeing posts from - I seem to have missed the messages recently. Nice new handle - I do think Fitter40s to Fitter50s would have been amusing!! But it’s much easier seeing the name πŸ‘πŸΌ

Ha ha still the same inside (and outside unfortunately πŸ˜‚) Richard!

I think I should change my handle from Richard7 to something else like Stephen42 just to confuse people πŸ˜‰

πŸ˜‚ - it could get really confusing. I should just have included real name from the beginning but wasn't especially confident I'd be in it for the long haul at that point!
