Starting again

It’s been a while. Graduated back in November but unfortunately had to stop due to needing an operation on my lung. So today I started the whole programme again. Half of me is gutted that I have to start again and the other half is looking forward to it. Missed my running and my running community.

Hope you are feeling much much better... no worries about starting again, you know the ropes and know you can do it:)

I am repeating it after a longish and very painful spell on the IC, and I have to say...it is fun:) Welcome back :)

I know. I had registered for a 10k back in November and it would have been tomorrow. I have a new goal now. Graduate part 2 😄

Ditto - graduated in November (for second time) then a Christmas bout of sepsis really knocked me back - just into a rerun of the second week now, recovering strength and muscles. Will watch your progress with interest. All the best...

Welcome back. Enjoy the programme. There are no surprises for you so happy running 😀

Welcome back👏👏 Branners and hope your feeling better after your big op.!

I suspect it won’t take you to long to get back to where you were with your running. But remember these familiar words slow and steady ! Easy does it!

Enjoy and

Happy running!😀😀

It’s my third time doing the C25K (though first time with NHS podcast), because of an injury and then later an unrelated operation. It’s much sounder to start again from scratch than just leap into running longer distances to avoid injury. You’ll have caught up to your old form before long 🙂

Welcome back!!! It's good to have you back here. I was starting over and over again due to different reasons, so I know how you feel (although I never managed to complete the programme, week 7 was my furthest).

Enjoy each and every run and don't put too much pressure on yourself. The important and happy part of it is that you are put there and you are enjoying it!

Happy running!

I keep getting to the end of week 8, then either life, illness or a spell on the IC seems to set me right back. I'm with you on the being split two ways thing, but grateful to have this template to work from/fall back on. If not I'd have probably given up. Main thing for you, though, is your health. Must be great to be running again.

It really is. I have gone back to week one but I don’t care. Going to enjoy the struggle.
