OMG I actually ran for a full 20 minutes! I can't believe I made it. Still going slow and steady and feel like I should be running faster, but I'll tackle speed once I've completed the course I think.
Still have the problem of legs aching though. Breathing isn't really an issue now. Any tips on how to stop aching legs when running? I have good trainers and they're super comfy. I'm thinking its probably due to my weight as I'm very overweight.

Maybe new trainers could help. Im overweight too and found new trainers helped stop the aches in my legs. I felt better and recovered quicker and they were not as tender.
I'm hoping its not the trainers, I spent a fortune on them after gait analysis so I'd be pretty cheesed off if it were for the trainers :s definately something to bare in mind though.... my birthday is coming up so maybe the new heels will come off my list to hubby and new trainers will go on it instead lol
If you consider that you put approximately 2.5 times your body weight through your legs, then any excess weight is going to (literally) have a big impact.
Make sure your footfall is under your body not out in front and avoid heelstriking.
