Wow, I did my 3 runs of 5 minutes!! The first always seems to be the hardest one for me, then I guess I sort out my pace and it becomes easier, the last 5 minute run seemed a lot easier, breathing better and feeling good!!! Bring it on!!!! Xx

Well done.
Im on week 5 too. I was dreading it a fews weeks ago but now im really excited to complete it.
Keep it going 😃
I've got to confess c1air3, I'm still having to force myself to get off the sofa and get out there, especially as I have to do it in the evenings after rushing around most of the day. But I'm determined to prove to myself I can do it!! I'm not rushing it tho', Lol, I just about manage 2 runs a week at the moment.

I had he same experience last night with my W5r1 - first run was VERY slow and uncomfortable, second was better, third was so relaxed and good! And for the first time since restarting this programme 8 weeks so I actually managed to heed Oldfloss ’s advice about feet ‘kissing the ground’ rather than plodding heavily as usual!

Week 5 is really exciting. For the first few weeks, you seem to be making tiny steps, but week 5 really proves you CAN be a runner.
