When you have a week off, is it advisable to repeat the previous week's runs or just carry on?

Repeat a week?
Carry on
If you do not run for a fortnight, then you might just begun to notice a drop in condition, so if you have only missed a week, just pick up where you left off.
This is covered in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
I broke a rib around end of W4 and had a month off but was surprised that still had residual fitness left once I could run again. I went back 1 week and it was fine. I don't think the fitness drops off as quickly as we fear. If you are concerned then repeating a week won't do any harm and might be and easier way to get back into the rhythm.
I had some knee pain after W3R2 and took a week off - then on Tuesday I did W3R3 - so I managed to pick up where I left off after a week, without a noticeable loss in stamina.
Give it a go and you may surprise yourself! Good luck.
I missed a week during the programme. I ran with the intention of repeating, but once I got towards the end of the first run interval, I thought, no I can do this, and kept going to end up doing the next week. I would suggest aiming for the next week, but see how you feel. There's certainly no harm in repeating a week, but I wouldn't say you have to!
