I was due to do W5R1 yesterday but I've been poleaxed by the flu. How long before I can run again? I'm so disappointed.

Not until you feel better I'm afraid! The rule is, anything from the neck down and you should sit it out. You will be surprised how long your stamina will keep up however.

The flu got me this year and it knocked the stuffing out of me. Take it easy, never run with a temperature and give it a good few days after that before you even attempt a walk, if that goes ok maybe think about a gentle run. Get your recovery wrong and it will take so much more time to get back to running so patience really does go In Your favour. Take care. Rfc x.

Until you are completely recovered,,, and fully back to full strength.

Influenza is serious... and recovery takes time; the runs will still be there, when you are ready :)
