As the weeks go by and the running increases I have a little fear that I may not last the course. So today I was focusing on getting the 3 minute run complete that I had a brain fart moment as I then spent an age trying to work out where I was on the run. Had I done 2 x 1 1/2 mins run or just the one, do I walk for 3 mins now or 1 1/12.. I have now finally downloaded thye podcast app. Just wish I had done this earlier as I am continually looking at my phone for the time. This is so gonna help me. So 5 weeks in to healthy eating (sadly only lost 2lb) but do feel better (just need to manage those portion sizes. However I am so chuffed that someone directed me here as I am having fun and feeling much healthier. After each run I am looking forward to the next one

Don't panic. My weight has hardly changed but my shape has completely. I've posted elsewhere that I have lost my tea tray belly and I have stopped snoring and yesterday I put an extra hole in my belt only to find I had to do another one as well!. So don't worry too much about the weight for now. It's a long term thing. Healthy eating and sensible portion sizes will win in the end.
You will notice a difference with the app now. I started this plan to loose weight and an added benefit of loosing weight. I am about to start week six. Not really lost much. A wee bit deflated but on the positive I am definetly fitter. Keep going. We will get there 😀

The app or podcasts certainly make life easier than doing the timing yourself.

The app definitely helps! I forgot my phone on W2R3. I was tempted to go home and get my phone but was so worried that that would be the excuse for me not to do it that I decided to make do with my watch. I got through it but was the app makes it do much easier. I did W3R2 today so we’re at about the same place. Good luck with it! I’m a few months off my 50th and have never run before. Im just taking it 1 run at a time! Enjoy! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
