A week ago I didn't think for a moment I'd be able to do this run. I told myself I'd try to do15 min then repeat and build on it. By this morning I was determined I'd do it all, even if I did it at a snails pace. I was nervous, not of the run but of not completing it. I did go a little slower than usual but kept a steady pace and it was good. I was waiting for Michael to say I had a minute to go when he said I could start walking. I had to check the timer on my phone to make sure I'd heard him right before I slowed down!
Apologies to the man who walked around the corner just in time to see me cheer and burst in to happy tears as I realised I'd done it but not to the several people who were the recipients of my biggest, cheesiest grin and I cool down walk/danced home.
