Sun run, a first. What’s not to like? Plus overcharged?

I thought I’d be off grid during my winter sojourn (sp?) but once a poster always a poster it seems.

Oh the bliss today of simply donning shorts, t shirt and shoes and off...

Two firsts for me 1. Wearing shorts, so much easier when I am unlikely to ever see these people again and who cares? They’re cool 2. Running along a beach in the SUN , instead of being hunched against the cold I was able to look around me and enjoy the views. Lovely on the hard wet sand more prancing pony in the patches of pebbles and dry sand . I loved it - air on my legs and wind to cool me I’m a runner abroad yay!

On the other hand a small technical glitch made me wonder if my brain cells are quite in tact. So at the airport I I decide to treat myself to some over the ear wireless heaphones. Why do you need to know that? Well... on getting to the hotel I discover kindle charge lead missing in a panic I go off the buy one immediately . Hah after my run I decide to charge old head phones and look at new ones and yeah you’ve guessed it their leads would fit my kindle so now I have 4 leads with which to charge a kindle that only comes out on holiday. Not really run related I know but annoying all the same

Exactly why I try to go away in Feb! The bonus this year is the running dimension. It a wonderful thing imagination isn’t it? I am a Pamela Anderson look alike baywatch babe as I run here. 😂😂

Sun... if only! We're going away for a few days... to Scotland! I'm still taking my running gear. So what if it's even colder than home, I'm not missing my runs!!! 😁

Beautiful scenery for you though. I cannot quite believe how much I look forward to run days. Felt envious of those out doin my yesterday run. Can this really be me talking? Enjoy you days away up north, maybe kilt running?.

I am so looking forward to wearing shorts again - the rest of the world may not be though. But winter running - I know the phrase is 'winter miles equals summer smiles' but puhlease, I am so over cold weather...

I envy you your sun run, but am off to Malaga next week and hoping for some there. But despite the tech pain, it is great that you enjoyed your run.
