Looking forward to starting week 5 tomorrow. It looks a little challenging, but I think I've now convinced myself I've got enough stamina for even run 3.
After many suggestions both here and from friends already involved, I signed up for Parkrun on Sunday. I'm not intending actually running it until April or May at the earliest, but I live just around the corner from our local meet and if I use the Parkrun route to practice on I can record my times as "Freedom" runs.

Well to be honest, Parkrun was the original goal, and C25K is a stepping stone to it. I got the go ahead and encouragement to aim for doing the Parkrun from my cardiac consultant last October and have been working on it ever since.
I wasn't planning to sign up for Parkrun until April or May, but I had a whole lot people tell me that it was worth signing up early, and going along to get to know people, see how it all works, and perhaps volunteer. Over the weekend I had three people independently tell me this, so I gave in and signed up.
