Hi guys, I’ve signed up today ( literally downloaded the app about 10 minutes ago!) and I’m motivated but a bit nervous about fitting all of these runs in to my week! Any advice or tips about the running?

Just because it is organised into “weeks” doesn’t mean that all 3 runs have to be completed in a week. I think most people took more than 9 weeks to graduate. Go at your own pace, embrace running in the rain - it’s not as bad as you think. Oh, and always remember the golden rule..... be sure to stick to your rest days. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I’m going to start my first run tomorrow! I have planned out my route, got my music ready and I’m quiet excited! I was a bit worried about getting 3 runs into 1 week but you have made me feel better! Thank you!

Congratulations on a good decision well made! Afraid I’m no expert (just started week 6), but for me the best advice is go as slow as you can to start .. really, really slow! My walking is often faster than my running, but it means I can complete the runs (so far!). Don’t worry about distance and splits and time and all the other paraphernalia, just listen, breathe and then bask in your endorphins at a job well done! Good luck!

Welcome! Run nice and slowly, this isn’t about speed, it’s about building health and endurance up... check out this post healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this, enjoy your journey.

Welcome to the gang!

Funny thing this C25K. I'll soon start to make the move to 10k. I have no idea how I'll fit that into my week.

I said the same when I started C25K. But somehow, when you start to realise the benefits, you make time. And after a while, you forget why you didnt have the time in the first place!

Please do let us know how you get on with your first run!
