What a shocker to hear Michael tell me today that the 3 runs from this week are different 😱. Does anyone else find that 5 mins can fly by but 60secs can take forever 🧐

Week5 runs - space time continuum
Oh yes definitely! You'll find this even after you graduate. Some runs feel like they take ages from the get-go, and some seem to finish before they even start. How are you finding it so far?
Like you say everyday is different- today breathing was really easy to the point where I felt maybe I should be running a bit faster but legs felt a bit heavy by run 3 - so maybe pace overall was ok. Proper mood lifter today 😊
Good to know, I see my shadow plodding along sometimes and wonder who that old lady is 🤣
My aim is to eventually run a 5k in under 30 mins - 10 yrs ago I could do about 25-26. Does that sound feasible?
I expect so, I just wouldn't aim for it for your graduation or you might be putting yourself at risk of injury. Just stick to your natural pace, no matter what time that brings you, and then you can work on pace later. You may surprise yourself of course and find that you have quite a good natural pace anyway, especially if you used to run.
Ooooh yep, sometimes the last 60 sec of those runs lasted for EVER. Timey wimey. You'll tackle the rest of the week just great!
As for increasing pace (later!) There are things people have mentioned to try e.g. intervals, I'm sure someone experienced will be along to suggest! Finish the programme first though
