Sore knees

Hi I have just joined this and have a question.

I did a 15k run on Monday then a 16k run on Wednesday and now I have pain in both my knees on the inside of my legs.

Would appreciate some advice on what to do next. Should I carry on or rest?

I would rest, i had pain on the outside of my knee, i did not run for a few days and then when i did again the pain was back, i have seen a physiotherapist and i was told not to run for 2 weeks, you may do more damage if you continue to run with sore knees

Why did you do such long runs consecutively?

Rest up, and if it still hurst after a couple of days - get qualified medical advice. It could be one of several things.

And as Rignold 's response is alluding to, perhaps reduce your overall mileage down.

Total mileage may be fine. I can't understand what regimen you would be following that had two 10 milers in a row.

Have you done c25k? Or are you a seasoned runner? your mileage seems rather excessive to be doing often...

Very few training plans will expect you to do two runs of such length one after the other.......it is not necessarily a good idea.

If you didn't know that, maybe you should find a training plan that matches up to whatever you are aiming for with your running.
