Hi, I need advice. I have just finished week 3 and my knees are very sore. I have broken them both about 8 years ago and was advised to run on grass with trail trainers. Should I use knee supports? I’m 57 and not overweight. Thanks in advance.. I really don’t want to give up.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact, stretching after every run and knee strengthening exercises, all of which may help.
Support sleeves may help, but your experience is not at all uncommon, which is why it is addressed in the guide.
Enjoy your journey

Knee supports might be a good idea . You can try and see if you benefit from them . Good luck.
