Lurgy dying down, so off I went for a tentative trot. Crispy, crusty snow sparkling in the street lamps - sounded like I was running on thousands of crisps. Very slow 2.6km, but I managed not to cough myself inside out - result!

So happy to be back out running however limited. πŸ˜„

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better Elfe.

Quite a good workout on snow I would think...easy does it...

Take care 😊xx

Oh, that's brave. I'm worried about slipping on snow with running shoes. How did you find it?

The snow that wasn't trampled and compacted was fine, but I had to go very slowly and cautiously the whole time because some bits were more slippery than others. It was ok for a very short, slow run, but not friendly for further/ faster. If I had your treadmill I would have sighed & been on it!! πŸ˜„

Well done for getting out especially with that cold! I love cripsy snow but we're not lucky on this side of the Channel: it's rain, rain, rain (a bit of sun on Friday, then more rain). The flu is catching everyone... Snow would be great to depollute the air ;-) Anyway, I find it easier to run on snow than to walk: il feels less slippery because you land on the forefoot and thus you're less likely to slip whereas when you walk if you use your heels for the impulsion, you slip.
