When you overtake walkers....just.

I find it quite amusing when I see there is a walker up ahead and they kind of feel your presence and move over to let you pass. Then as you (very) slowly catch up with them you can almost feel them half looking around thinking "Is this guy ever gonna pass me"?

It feels like it takes forever to actually catch up with and then eventually pass them.

That's my thought for the day, it amuses me anyway!

I often have that sense of someone approaching slowly as i'm out running. It takes an age and then they pass me slowly walking :P

I use that as my fartlek training. I see someone walking, so I speed up to get past them; and then when I feel I am a safe distance ahead I slow back down again

I wouldn’t worry or care, just keep plugging away

In a few weeks you won’t have that scenario 💪🏃‍♂️👍 😃

I had the opposite yesterday when I clocked up my first 6k run. I got passed by 2 runners going at what seemed like twice my speed. Then about 5 minutes later another one. Then 5 minutes later the fast 2 runners came back towards me. One day I might be faster but yesterday I was just happy to be increasing my distance and didn't care about my speed. Keep plodding and getting the distance in your legs.
