Hi all

First run tonight after 10 years. Nudging 60, so time to get active. Hopefully, this programme will do it for me!

I'll let you know tomorrow what aches and pains I have when I awaken, haha :)

So, you done it yet? How'd it go? Good I hope

Age is now barrier to finding good health. I'm 60 now but feel like a kid again

Hi

When I wrote first run tonight I meant I'd done it already.

I was pleased that I found the motivation to get out there but the true motivation will be keeping it up!! The run felt good although I felt very tired later. Today, the tops of my thighs are aching but that's expected.

I wear a gps heart-rate monitor which enables me to download tons of data for analysis. It'll be that that keeps me going and give me the incentive.

Next run is tomorrow :)

Hi. The advice when you’re new to C25K is to have at least one rest day in between your runs... allows your muscles to repair. Happy R2🏃‍♀️

Thanks but don't worry. The first run was yesterday, Monday. The next one's tomorrow, so definitely at least a day's rest in between.
