I did a bit too much on the second run at the gym and thought I’d struggle today but it was fine. Bring on week 2!

Well done.. one down eight to go 👍
Make sure you pace yourself as the runs get longer and enjoy the program.
👍❤️🏃♂️
Yes I can get carried away. Easy when you feel canny then realise you’re not Paula Radcliffe.
I am exactly the same, the regular posters on here, Ian and old floss always telling me to slow down.
And they are right taking it steady is the key, once you have mastered the program and built up the muscles you need for running there is a life time of running to get better and quicker, now is all about building that runners body.
I’m not exactly the ideal candidate as I have metalware etc so I need to keep my core strong. I’m doing gym on the other days so fingers crossed.
In truth I’m enjoying the challenge but you are so right. 😉
