Hi I'm New here... turning 60 this year started running back in Oct warm up stretching (before and after) walking\ running and Hill Walking... achillies became very tight and still tight to date I have rested since Oct walking only... I'm looking for advice...

Eccentric heel drops are recommended for Achilles problems healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

If it persists then professional advice is the best route.

Stretching before a run should be dynamic runnersworld.com/ask-coach-...

Following a training plan such as NHS C25K, which this forum is dedicated to, is the low risk way to start running, especially if you are more mature, as are many of us here.
