Last run of 2017

My last run of 2017 was w5r2....again! Have I noticed a difference since starting on Sept 1st....well my recovery time is quicker, my breathing overall is better and my pace is more relaxed especially when the odd track appears on my playlist. It's been an up and down couple of months and at times it would have been easy to give up. But I will graduate and I will continue to run. I may have no designs on serious running and have no desire to ever contemplate a marathon let alone a half marathon. I do however want to finish each run with a grin! So come on 2018!

Good for you. Well done for completing the run and good luck for the rest of the programme. I’m much the same, don’t want to do marathons but happy with my 5k at the moment. However if we keep on doing it I’m sure there will be natural progression. Happy New Year to you 😀

I have just done w5 r2 again as couldn’t run for couple of weeks because of cold but it’s okay we’re still doing it we haven’t given up 😀

Thanks everyone. I hope you all had a great new year. I went out yesterday on w5r3 my first one for 2018 and it was tough. But I did It! One more step in the right direction.
