well club run tonight, no run on Monday, because of the Bank Holiday (lightweights!) So I began the B210K on Tuesday instead.
It went really well tonight. Thanks to OldNed mentioning his last run of August this is my almost last one, I intend running Thursday Friday and Saturday! (15 runs this month)
The club were all really friendly (when are they not:-)), but my pacers were not there I still nimbled round and realised that even without them there I have shaved over 10 minutes off my 5.2K time to just under 30 minutes! Of course tonight the club runners were all doing the 10K and Magic Mile runs so went past me several times I was even invited to the Great North Run (not a total embarrassment then?) However that-- is-- too much for me at the moment, I will however be there at the finish line in my green OXFAM T-shirt cheering them all on.
Guess that if I do this at my own pace instead of pushing myself all the time it is actually really enjoyable and something I can see myself doing long term with or without a club or Laura <3

I recognise the millennium bridge! Which running club is it you've joined? I live in the NE too so just wondered if it was close to me? It sounds great to help keep you motivated and improve your PB!
