Happy Christmas

My new year resolution for 2017 was to run 5k. Well, talk about leave it to the last minute, today I graduated! I have done it all on a treadmill at the gym as I haven’t plucked up the courage to be seen outdoors and have yet to manage 5k. According to my iPhone/watch app today was 4.69k so not much further to go. I think I need to treat myself to some proper running shoes for Christmas and get myself out into the world.

Well done! It also took me a long time to pluck up the courage to run outside. I was scared of what people would think. Now I run 2-3 times a week outside, have run various park runs and a half marathon. I can’t believe the change!

Thank you, not sure about the half marathon but I definitely want to be outdoors running 2-3 per week

Oh well done! You will love running outside. Nobody will take any notice of you...honest! And gait analysis and proper shoes are a must and quite addictive. Merry Christmas x
