Noooooooo, someone else of my age group joined and now I’m down to 3rd of 3. If they keep coming I’ll end up being 100th out of 100.
5 mins slower this week, being overtaken by buggy pushing mums and dads giving kids piggy back! They all make it look effortless too. Mantra to self - this is about you not them -
I didn’t walk for the whole 5k but for goodness sake.. 45mins
No wait a cotton picking moment - in September I considering running round and round the local defibrillator just in case and now albeit at snail slime pace I am doing it for 45mins without stopping so boo sucks to all those young fit runners.
The programme is great but graduating makes you feel like the stabilisers have been taken off your bike. Thank you for the patience of all those on this forum, when there is noone sitting at home all agog to hear your new run story it’s a great help to post on here.

Don’t worry about any one else’s times , or your own for that matter . Take heart that you can go out and run and hopefully enjoy it. I too am a slow coach but who cares . The achievement is just going to the start
After four and a half years, I am working hard to stand still, PBs are a thing of the past, but knowing all the pleasure and fitness that it can give me, I am more determined than ever to keep going, not worrying about pace.
I would urge everyone to run because they can. It may not last forever.
Hahaha, third in your age group is not bad 😀. I am still 1st in my age group of one 🎻. all those people who overtake us have no respect for us oldies 😂
Everyone is right - at least you are doing park runs. I am still too nervous to leave the comfort of my home runs. I've only ever run alone or with my children!
