W1 R1 in the bag

I have just completed my first ever run! I am actually buzzing!😬 My exercise of ‘choice’ has always been power walking (and I have completed walking marathons) but I’ve never had the belief that I could run for more than a few secs at a time. The hardest part for me was trying to run slowly as I think we’re pre-conditioned to think run=fast as you can go. Loved it!👍. Liz x

Welcome.... very well done :) It is the way to feel wonderful!

However much you feel the need for speed.. resist it.. your kegs and your core strength and stamina all have to build up gently, towards those 30 minute runs:)

As the runs get longer you will be glad you did. Take your rest days and on those days, don't forget to put in some strength and stamina exercises too ( non-impact of course).

Keep posting for great advice and support too!

Fantastic. If you have loved this first run, which many of us found difficult, you are going to,so enjoy the rest of the program.
