Some of us will run through Christmas and not miss a single run.
Some of us will struggle to fit them in as life gets busy and we find ourselves tired from other things.
Please remember that however our Christmas break and running goes we are all still runners and it will be waiting patiently for us when we are ready.
Running is all about making our lives richer and if that means a little less over The festive period don’t beat yourself up and please don’t think you are letting yourself down.
Most of you will not of been running this time last year, so you wouldn’t even of thought about how to fit those runs in so that in itself is something to be very proud of. You are a runner now.
We will all be out running in the New Year, this year you made the move to start running so celebrate that decision even if you miss a run
Happy running to you all

"Running is all about making our lives richer"... stands up, raises arms and claps fervently.
Seize the moments you do have rather than lamenting the ones you don't and don't forget that fitness is an all round thing and social relationships are part of that too. (And of course going for a run can be a great way to deal with any frustrations that do build up from those!)
I havent run for nearly 3 weeks now due to the bad weather then having the lurgy. I know though that my running is still waiting for me when I am better .
