I've had a long break due to the weather. First snow, then ice. It's all cleared up now so I was all prepped and ready to run on Monday, then Tuesday, finally made it out the door today.
I've abandoned the field running for the moment. I'm not keen on the mud. I always seem to trek a bucket load home with me that I can barely lift my feet to run. I'm not having much fun pounding the pavement. The traffic noise is so loud. This morning there was the glare of headlamps and heavy morning traffic and busy-ness. I like the quiet of the field where I can hear my music. I like the peace and soft ground.
Truth be told I like my warm, cozy duvet. I'm not a morning person. So to be up and outside at 'oooooo its still dark o'clock' is quite a big deal for me. I'm not ready for the outside world at that hour. So why am I up? I have the running bug. So today I forsook my warm cozy, duvet gladly donned my running attire and out the door I went. Much to my delight I completed the interval training run this morning.
