What was I saying about βitβ being more a physical than a mental challenge? Well I lied!! It took every bit of mental strength to go out on a very cold, grey, wet and generally miserable Manchester morning yesterday for W6R1. And it was flippin great. Cold - yes! Wet - yes! But absolutely exhilarating. Best of all - I am not put off by bad weather which letβs face it folks, is pretty much a given when you live βup north β ππππ
It was a mental challenge after all ...π - Couch to 5K

Good! If you can keep running through winter then nothing can faze you
I think itβs just the thought of going out that pits ismoff. When we actually get out there itβs not,too bad, usually ππββοΈπ

That's why I'm glad I live Down South,The Weather! But it's also pretty crap here this morning!π
Yes, most of it is a mental challenge and like the weather that too can be pretty crap, so have to try and ignore it and push on..not always easy though..π

If you can run W6 in those awful conditions, nothing can stop you from reaching the goal of 30mns! Well done!
I know what you mean - 'warm duvet' vs 'cold weather' - no contest, except that now I have my Mr Smooth reminder and when he says go, I know I have to. I am glad you got out there and it was exhilarating and you're now not put off, it takes determination to do that.
Well done you...
