Set off without music or cues. Did have to walk for a couple of short spells but had a lovely run down my daylight lane and out to the fields. Bracing but at least dry.
Great afternoon run: Set off without music or... - Couch to 5K
Great afternoon run

Nice pace - how pink were you? I’m staying white with cold at present, not troubling the red end of the colour chart at all...

Sounds excellent Carolyn and if as you say you walked briefly you still set a cracking pace
It looks like a great run, Carolyn. I shall aspire to those speeds when I have finally graduated. Until then I shall not trouble my elderly tortoise

Its good to track runs. It gives us something to be able to analyse to make us better runners. When I wanted to improve my times I realised through looking back through my stats that if I took the first mile 1min slower I could get a better overall time, as I had a bad habit of flying off too quick and paying for it. The problem was it didn't feel quick, so the stats really helped.
I see that your pacing is quite consistent, in spite of the walking breaks -I'm guessing a hill/ incline during Km3?
Yes there was an incline over a bridge at 3k as I went a bit further than before and back over the bridge. I do tend to be fairly consistent but had gone out a little quicker than normal. Do you keep a record of your runs?
