Finished week 8 today. I've been doing really well and managing pretty well for a 50 year old. However, less than 10 mins into the run I could feel a pain in the groin area, I carried on although was tough going, then the pain started to go down my thigh to my knee. I know I should've stopped but I was determined to keep going to the end and I did. I'm hoping I will only need a couple of rest days before going to week 9 but I'm still quite sore in the groin area so might take me longer. I will not be defeated.
