Goodbye week 6!!

Did I really just say that? Can't believe it - I look like a sweaty beetroot but thrilled that I pushed on. Negative thoughts entered my head 10 minutes in, like "don't overdo it", "whose going to know if you stop" "oh my god this it too much I'm never going to manage" but remarkably I carried on. I did it for ME - it was tough though - I need to stop thinking about how long is left next time out - the mind is so powerful, mine manages to override all distraction tactics!!

Well done. We refer to those negative thoughts as gremlins. They are never too far away, no matter how many times you have run before. You are right, at this stage it is mental strength that becomes all important. The body is responding well to regular exercise, but our mind still thinks we can't. Lets prove it wrong!
