Hi. I started Couch to 5k in June having never run before. I couldn’t believe how hard that first minute of running was! But I stuck at it and amazingly graduated in August. I have continued to run 3 times a week and love it - I’ve even asked for a running watch for Christmas so I can compete against myself and track my progress. This morning I borrowed my son’s watch as I had no idea how fast I was running and did 5k in 35 minutes. I just had to share that with someone as there is no one at home at the moment to share it with - they are all really good runners so it probably won’t impress them but I’m chuffed with myself.
Wanted to share with someone.....: Hi. I started... - Couch to 5K

That’s amazing well done !! I’ve just graduated today - haven’t quite managed to run 5k (4.14k) but I’m determined to do it.
Go you !!!!!
Well done Jorun, especially the consolidation. I’m there now and hope to continue 30x3 a week until Christmas without timing myself. I did do a park run @ 40:33 and decided it was too soon to do anymore so I’m playing around with a few podcasts to keep me going.
So nice to read about everyone’s achievements 👍🏼👟
Fantastic run! What a great time too!
Awww well done to you. I know that feeling of wanting to share your news but no one is around. 5k in 35 minutes is brilliant. I can only look forward to achieving such a time in the future.
Keep up the good work.
Yeay!!!! Brilliant.. go you.... very well done.. and the kind of motivational post we need!
We are IMPRESSED!!!! x
WOW well done you 😊 great time for your 5k.
When I completed my first 20 min run on the C25K program I had no-one at home so I text my daughters as, I agree with you, it’s good to share 😃
Well done to you !
Thats one of the great things about this forum , we all get it and its a brilliant place to share our successes .
Great stuff, happy running ! xxx
Sounds fabulous to me - I'm sitting here like a beetroot having just completed week 6 - so respect to you! 👏
Wow! You've done really well! It's kind of pointless comparing yourself against others but the urge to do so is strong -- I'd be really pleased with that time! However I know that really the achievement is getting running and enjoying its many benefits.
Very impressive - very well done! You should be well chuffed!
Your time is your time and you should rightly be proud of it.
Keep running, keep smiling.
