Poppy power....

Good evening my lovely family....sorry it’s late & I know you’ll be having your teas but here again....

This morning I watched the wreath laying on telly...then it was time to head out on my virtual poppy run...so, trainers on, headphones in & off I went...no C25k this morning, I just wanted music....& what fantastic music I had...the lovely Hidden has named one of her playlists after me on Spotify & it’s ace!!! I had a look at it when it was compiled but this morning was the first time I listened to it whilst out running...it’s just fab..I particularly liked one song that I’ve never heard before..queen of clubs!! I am SURE they were singing about me??!!! I had a fab run this morning, my settling in period took a while as the wind was freezing & kept taking my breath away but by the time I’d done 3k I was prancing & had so much to give...you lot were all there with me, Jan through the music, Oldfloss in her Bush, although she didn’t have much to do this morning except for cheering me on... rolysmate was on my shoulder as promised, on the other shoulder I had Wannabefit19 .. quirkybee was there with IgaT ...all the new graduates & everyone looking for quirkybees mojo.. it was complete poppy madness!!! But we were all runtastic...like we always are...

Hiding in one of the bushes were two of my kids cheering me on, little monkeys, I didn’t expect that!!! Did my 5k, well, just over...5.4kms in 41 minutes...bit slower than usual but I’ve been celebrating that many graduations...hic...if you know what I mean??!!! So, poppy run done, (excuse the photo!!!) massive congratulations when I got home...lunch then Oliver rehearsals all afternoon, my Son is Oliver (excited much!!!) ...nice glass of wine raised to all the men who have served & are serving & another glass to my runderful friends on here....love yas xxx

Had a double whammy viral thing but mostly over it now. Had a big move with work too which I didn't deal with in my usual positive manner. I think not running may have had something to do with that. I stood beside a woman looking at the runbi g gear in aldi's a couple of Saturday's ago and wondered if it was you but didn't have the courage to ask.

It was lively & sunny but bitterly cold....my son got this part by chance, long story but he’s so cute in this, it suits him down to the ground!! His solo makes me cry every time though!! 😨

Gorgeous pic and am so glad the music helped - Queen of Clubs hey, well one of the things i loved about compiling it was the A-Z of names and Q was hard! I found some new tracks I'd never heard about, so it's quite fun.

Next upcoming release - one for the boys.....
