I can't believe I'm making it to week 9. This last run for W8 didn't start very well as I hesitated what to put on with the cold yet sunny weather. Of course, after 5mns, I had to peel off the layers I had while... running. Then, one of my earpieces kept falling off (for the first time! I'm wondering if I've lost weight on my right earlobe lol), had to change the player from one pocket to another for it to stop... still my legs kept running. I barely paid any attention to the music as I was feeling for my pockets and the infamous tissues! Yes, my nose was so runny (ahaha): warming up in the cold, I couldn't help blowing my nose every 5 mns. I was more than halfway through the run when everything fell into place and I had barely noticed. And I even managed to finish on a quicker pace for the last 5mns. So looking forward to W9!

Thank you, Oldfloss. Following your reminder to go slow and steady really helps. I think I'm not reaching 5K but just enjoy running without struggling, without terrible headaches afterwards and without any back pain. The only problem is that sometimes, I've got so much endorphine that I don't sleep very well after a run in the afternoon (but can't always go for a run in the morning).
