Third Parkrun!

I’ve had two weeks off from Parkrun, my husband did his first one two weeks ago (we have a baby so will have to alternate!) and we were on holiday last week. I was a bit worried about how I’d get on, I improved my time for my second one and didn’t want to fall too far behind that one as I really want to improve. I have still done my two other runs this week and they seemed to go okay.

It was a chilly morning ‘up north’ but I felt raring to go. Lots of puddles and the dreaded hills to contend with but I got another PB, 36 and a half minutes. I even overtook some people!!!

I still don’t run the whole thing, there are four hills and I walk each one and then get straight back into running once I’m at the top. Next job is to manage the hills, maybe one per week and see how I go.

Hope everyone else who did a Parkrun enjoyed it.

That's fabulous and I'm with you about the hills, not tried them yet either 😉

I’ve seen some with pushchairs too. I think a running buggy is the way to do it but given it would only be once a week I doubt I could justify the expense. Believe it or not our buggy is called a babyjogger but the small print says it’s not suitable to run or jog with 🙄
